Our corporate mission is to be the best, privately-held employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm in the Northwest.Webster’s defines the term “TRUE” as steadfast, loyal, honest, and just. We chose our company’s name based on these guiding principles. We instill in our team members the need to always do what’s right for our clients. At TRUEbenefits, we listen. We believe that you learn more by listening. By acquiring a clear understanding of your organization’s culture, we are better able to bring the right solutions, that are both fiscally prudent and attractive to your employees.
One of the significant differences between TRUEbenefits and other brokerage firms is that the senior principals of the business remain personally engaged in the management of the firm and in the service of their clients. Each of the company’s three principals has over 20 year industry experience working for the insurance companies as well as regional and national consulting firms.
Our Principals work with our clients to establish project management schedules and then coordinate the efforts of our account service team to meet these project timelines. Our team members will work in concert with your human resource and finance departments to make sure all consulting and service support issues are handled in an appropriate and timely manner.
Unlike many of our competitors, our focus is not selling our clients new products, but rather ensuring our clients’ plans and administrative practices are compliant with state and federal laws, their current vendor relationships are well managed, and that their plans are meeting their people, service, and financial objectives.
We strive to become a valuable member and partner of our clients’ human resource and finance teams. We believe this partnership and customer-first philosophy is borne out by our 97% client retention level and the average length of our client relationships. Our more than 150 health and welfare plan clients employ approximately 75,000 combined U.S. employees; over 40,000 of whom work in Washington State.
